Allowing someone you don’t know to come into your vacation home could be a real risk. Therefore it’s imperative that the individual you are considering have the highest integrity, professionalism and credentials possible. My name is Dave Dash and as owner of Beach Cities Home Watch I take the responsibility of “watching” your vacation home with the highest of attention and importance. I do this full-time and take pride in making myself available anytime to my clients.
My wife and I have been homeowners and have lived along the South Orange County coastline for over 40 years. I have worked in a variety of disciplines including Publisher with the Surfer Publishing Group, as a writer/producer for film and video productions for ABC, NBC and ESPN, and mortgage banking. I have a California Real Estate license as well as a Notary Public for the State of California. During the season I work in Security for the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. I will make available an extensive list of personal references upon request, and welcome any and all background investigation a potential client might require.
I take pride in treating my clients well by doing everything I say I will do and doing it reliably. Whether visiting your property weekly or monthly I perform all services plus many that are difficult to list. Generally, I am your eyes while you are absent.
In order to give the very best in service, Beach Cities Home Watch service is available to absentee homeowners only in the cities of Laguna Beach, Dana Point (including Monarch Beach and Capistrano Beach), and San Clemente, California.
If needed, we have developed from experience, an extensive list of resources of reliable, honest, and trustworthy suppliers of services for the homeowner. If you have your own list of suppliers I will make myself available to monitor their work for you. If repair services are needed I will contact you informing you of the needed work. I will then put you, the home owner, in touch with the service provider for payment arrangements unless prior arrangements are made. We are not a “management company” but rather a HomeWatch monitoring service reporting on the property condition. We are fully insured and licensed. Nothing outside of the listed Beach Cities Home Watch Services is undertaken without the homeowner’s prior authorization.
